Football: Di Natale mulling future after hat-trick

Antonio Di Natale scored a hat-trick, including an 88th minute leveller, in a 3-3 home draw to Sampdoria that was supposed to be the Udinese striker's career swansong on Saturday.

Udinese looked to be heading for defeat in their final match of the Serie A season after two second-half goals by Eder and Roberto Soriano had given the visitors a 3-2 lead by the 55th minute.

But Di Natale -- who recently cast doubts on an earlier decision to retire at the end of the season -- pounced two minutes from the final whistle to snatch a share of the spoils for the northerners.

Di Natale said after the match he would "try" to continue with the Serie A side, who are set to finish just below the mid-table positions.

The former Italy striker, 36, has finished the season on 17 goals, only five shy of league leader Ciro Immobile of Torino (22).
