Yu beauty! Penalty hero puts Seoul into semis

Goalkeeper Yu Sang-Hun saved three spot-kicks as FC Seoul beat Pohang Steelers 3-0 in a dramatic penalty shoot-out to reach the AFC Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday.

After neither side could score in 210 minutes of football, Yu was the hero for the hosts as he denied Pohang captain Hwang Ji-soo, Kim Jae-Sung and Park Hee-Chul at Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Kim Jin-Kyu also missed a penalty for FC Seoul but Everton Santos, Osmar Barba and Mauricio Molina converted for the 2013 runners-up to send them through to the last four once again.

FC Seoul will face either defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande of China or Australia's Western Sydney Wanderers in the semi-finals with the first leg in Seoul on September 17.

In the other semi-final, Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal will meet 2003 AFC Champions League winners Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates with the first leg in Riyadh on September 16.
