Three Greek internationals injured in Budapest car crash

Three Greek international footballers were slightly injured on Monday in a car crash as they travelled by taxi to Budapest airport.

Vangelis Moras, Panagiotis Tachtsidis, and Giannis Fetfatzidis were taken to hospital after the crash in which one person was killed, a Greek federation spokesperson told the Hungarian MTI news agency.

Moras and Tachtsidis left the hospital later on Monday, while Fetfatzidis was expected to leave on Monday night, the spokesperson added.

Police said one person died at the scene while several people were injured, three seriously.

All three footballers play in Italy -- Moras, 33, and Tachtsidis, 24, for Verona and Fetfatzidis, 24, for Chievo.

The players were returning back to their clubs after Greece drew 0-0 with Hungary in their Euro 2016 qualifier on Sunday.
