Former Bosnia coach Susic returns to France

Safet Susic, who coached Bosnia at last year's World Cup in Brazil, has returned to the game after being handed the reins at French club Evian.

Evian, who were relegated from Ligue 1 at the end of last season, confirmed the appointment on Monday without revealing the length of contract signed by the 60-year-old Susic.

A former Paris Saint-Germain player, Susic spent five years in charge of Bosnia, leading them to their first major tournament finals at the 2014 World Cup.

However, after being eliminated from a group that contained Argentina and Nigeria in Brazil, Bosnia had a poor start to Euro 2016 qualifying and Susic was sacked in November last year, with Mehmed Bazdarevic replacing him.
