Tottenham's Chadli out for six weeks

Tottenham Hotspur winger Nacer Chadli will be out for six weeks after damaging ankle ligaments in last weekend's 0-0 draw with Liverpool, the Premier League club said on Tuesday.

Chadli, 26, "is expected to be sidelined for around six weeks", Tottenham said on the club's Twitter account.

The Belgium international, who has made 11 appearances this season, was stretchered off after eight minutes of Saturday's game at White Hart Lane following a collision with an opponent inside the Spurs box.

He is the latest Spurs player to succumb to injury, after Ryan Mason (knee), Nabil Bentaleb (ankle) and close-season signing Son Heung-Min (foot).
