Italy international forward Alessandro Diamanti has been loaned by English Premier League outfit Watford to Atalanta, the Italian club announced on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old, who has played 17 times for his country, was already on loan at Watford from Asian and Chinese champions Guangzhou Evergrande.

Diamanti previously played for West Ham United, Fiorentina and Bologna, amongst other clubs.
