Morgan, Souttar, Stevenson get first Scotland call-ups

Lewis Morgan, John Souttar and Lewis Stevenson were the three uncapped names in an experimental 24-man Scotland squad named by Alex McLeish on Monday for upcoming friendlies against Peru and Mexico.

Hearts defender Souttar, Morgan, who will join Celtic next season from St. Mirren, and Hibernian left-back Stevenson have been given their chance with a host of more senior players left out.

McLeish's men travel to Lima to face Peru on May 29 before a game in Mexico City on June 2.

Most of Celtic's regular Scottish international contingent have been rested ahead of an early start to next season in Champions League qualifiers.

Liverpool's Andy Robertson is also absent due to his involvement in the Champions League final.
