Spartak Moscow forward Artem Dzyuba, who leads the Russian Premier League scorers chart with six goals, has been called up by manager Fabio Capello into Russia's national squad.

On Friday the 68-year-old Italian coach named his 25-man team to play a friendly with Azerbaijan on September 3 and the Euro-2016 qualifier with Liechtenstein on September 8. Both games will be played in Moscow.

Capello called up 17 footballers who played for Russia at the World Cup in Brazil.

Earning a first time call up were Spartak goalkeeper and skipper Arten Rebrov and Rostov striker Dmitry Poloz.

Capello selected five players each from reigning Russian champions CSKA, the country's most successful side Spartak Moscow and Premier League current leaders Zenit St Petersburg.
