Enyimba retain Nigeria FA Cup

Enyimba on Sunday retained the Nigeria FA Cup after they beat Dolphins 2-1 in Lagos, the fourth cup triumph after winning in 2005, 2009 and 2013.

The Aba club will represent Nigeria in next year's CAF Champions League after they finished runners-up in the league, while beaten finalists Dolphins will feature in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Known as "The People's Elephant", Enyimba got the opening goal through the Nigeria league's all-time record goal scorer Mfon Udoh, who drove from 30 yards to beat Rotimi Sunday in the Dolphins goal in the 52nd minute.

Chinonso Okonkwo made it 2-0 in the 73rd minute before Emem Eduok gave Dolphins a lifeline in the 80th minute, when he connected with Ifeanyi Egwim's pass to take the scores to 2-1.
