Mabkhout starts for UAE, Iraq's Kasim back

Goal-machine Ali Mabkhout will start for the United Arab Emirates on Friday as he chases the Asian Cup golden boot award in the third-place play-off against Iraq.

UAE coach Mahdi Ali made four changes to the side that lost 2-0 to Australia in the semi-finals, bringing in goalkeeper Khalid Eisa for his first start of the tournament.

Omar Abdulrahman also plays and Mabkhout will be hoping the cultured midfielder can help him add to his tally of four goals. Omar's brother, Mohamed, drops to the bench though.

Iraqi boss Radhi Shenaishil switched three players from the starting line-up that lost 2-0 South Korea in the last four. Yaser Kasim, scorer of a sensational individual goal at the group stage, returns from suspension.
