Furlan leaves French strugglers Troyes

Ligue 1's bottom club Troyes on Thursday parted company with coach Jean-Marc Furlan having failed to win a game in France's top flight this season.

A statement released by the club said Furlan was leaving after "a decision taken by mutual agreement" between the board and the coach.

Troyes added that no replacement had been chosen for the 58-year-old, who was in his second spell at the helm of the club from the southern Champagne country.

He led Troyes to the Ligue 2 title last season but they have not won any of their 16 league games this season and a 3-0 home loss to Toulouse on Wednesday left the team bottom of the table, 13 points from safety.
