Belgian Paul Put was Friday named as the new coach of Guinea, the latest African stopping-off point for the 61-year-old who has also been in charge of Kenya and Burkina Faso.

Put replaces Kanfory Lappe Bangoura who was axed in January after a 3-1 loss to Morocco in the African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The Belgian has also coached Africans clubs such as Club Algerien and USM Alger as well as a having a stint with the Jordan national team from 2015-2016.
