Argentine midfielder Nicolas Martinez has signed a one-year contract for an undisclosed fee with Aris Thessaloniki, the Greek Super League club announced Wednesday.

Martinez, 30, said he has come to "a major and historic team and I will do my best for Aris to meet their goals."

The well-travelled Martinez has played for Apollon Limassol (2017-2018), Western Sydney Wanderers (2016-2017), Anorthosis Famagusta (2015-2016), Panetolikos (2014-2015), San Martin de San Juan (2013-2014), Real Murcia (2012-2013), Santiago Wanderers (2011-2012) and Independiente (2009-2011).
