Bernard Challandes has quit as coach of Armenia, the national football federation announced on Tuesday.
The 63-year-old Swiss, who took over in July 2014, resigned after his team's 2-1 defeat to Albania in a 2016 European championship qualifier on Sunday.
Armenia collected just one point in four matches in their qualifying campaign.
The republic in the southern Caucasus share bottom place in Group I with Serbia, who were deducted three points.
Armenia's football federation chief Ruben Airapetyan said the new national team manager will be named in the near future.
