Celtic manager Ronny Deila believes the Glasgow giants have a bright future as they all but clinched their fifth Scottish Premiership title in a row with a 3-1 win over Hearts on Saturday.

Closest rivals Aberdeen beat Motherwell 4-1 to temporarily suspend Celtic's official confirmation as champions.

However, Deila's team hold a nine-point advantage with three games left and a goal difference that is vastly superior to the Dons meaning the title is firmly in the Glasgow club's grasp.

"There are a lot of great talents here. It is a tough club to play for because the pressure is unbelievable," said Deila, who will leave the job at the end of the season.

"You have to learn to deal with that and a lot of these young players have a lot of experience now. To achieve five-in-a-row is fantastic and it is just the start for the club. I know it."

Goals from Colin Kazim-Richards, Patrick Roberts and Leigh Griffiths sealed the win at Tynecastle that sparked scenes of celebrations amongst Celtic's travelling support, who know their club is on the verge of a 47th top flight title.

Deila -- whose side's domestic cup semi-final defeats to Rangers and Ross County and poor European form played a major role in his departure -- said he was happy to deliver the title as a parting gift to the Celtic fans.

"We haven't reached all our goals this season but this one is the biggest," Deila said of the Premiership title.

"We were able to give something back to our fantastic supporters who have been behind us for the whole season.

"I feel so happy because the fans are unbelievable and it is an honour to be part of this club.

"The biggest challenge this club has is unity, as when you are winning and winning, everyone wants us down and to split us.

"If you stay together -- supporters, players and the rest of the club -- then we are so hard to beat, and we saw that today," added the Norwegian manager, who joined the club from Stromsgodset in June 2014.
