Dempsey among six new USA faces for Honduras

US captain Clint Dempsey was among six players added Saturday by Jurgen Klinsmann for his side's Tuesday friendly against Honduras at Boca Raton, Florida.

After a 1-1 draw with Ecuador in Friday's international farewell match for all-time US scoring leader Landon Donovan, the Americans will add five players in their first US appearance since the World Cup.

Alongside Dempsey in seeing their first US duty since falling in the round of 16 at Brazil are Michael Bradley, Matt Besler, Jermaine Jones and Graham Zusi. Chicago Fire goalkeeper Sean Johnson is the other new arrival.

Among those not back from the Ecuador lineup is Joe Gyau, a 22-year-old winger for German side Borussia Dortmund. Gyau sprained his left knee against Ecuador and will return to Dortmund for treatment.

The match will be a homecoming for Boca Raton native Jozy Altidore, the Sunderland striker who took the captain's armband Friday in Dempsey's absence.
