The Euro 2016 qualifier between Israel and Belgium initially scheduled for September 9 has been postponed until March 31, 2015, due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza, the Belgian Federation (URBSFA) announced on Tuesday.

An agreement was reached between the two relevant federations and European governing body UEFA on Tuesday to put back the match, which had been expected to take place in Jerusalem.

Israel and Belgium are alongside Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus and Wales in qualifying Group B for the Euro 2016 finals, which will be held in France.
