Grieving France midfielder Lassana Diarra was named on the bench for Tuesday's friendly against England at Wembley, four days after his cousin died in the Paris attacks.

Asta Diakite, who Diarra described as a "big sister" in a subsequent Twitter post, was among those killed on rue Bichat during the attacks in the French capital last Friday that left 129 people dead and more than 350 injured.

The Marseille player elected to remain with the squad for the trip to London, but was left out of the starting line-up by coach Didier Deschamps.

Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, whose sister escaped the massacre at the Bataclan concert hall that left 89 people dead, was also named on the bench.
